Introducing the Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA)
 

As firms rely more and more on their computer systems, the cost of having an unreliable system is also increasing.  Quite apart from the frustration of having an expensive system sitting idle, an unserviced and unreliable PC can create staff inefficiencies, customer complaints and days of lost productivity.  Measure the cost of losing a single client against the cost of the TAA and it soon becomes evident that professional computer support is a necessary investment, not an unwarranted expense.

The TAA was introduced to serve clients with systems ranging from a single PC to a local area network.  Unlimited hardware support, 'free' telephone support, biannual overhauls and complete system documentation serve to keep all computers running smoothly and reliably.

The TAA support agreement includes:
 

1. A biannual exhaustive equipment overhaul to conduct preventative maintenance, optimize PC performance and document component histories for each device covered.

The CIOPS PC system overhaul comprises:

  • Overall component check and clean
  • Detection and eradication of known viruses
  • Checking and cleaning of floppy disk drives
  • Testing power supply/voltages
  • Examining program configuration
  • Compacting/optimizing hard disk drives
  • Recording component performance/configuration on history record
  • Recommending PC enhancements and improved procedures
  • Examining/recording/optimization of network software.

2. Extensive help desk facilities. This is an unlimited service that can assist your staff with efficient problem resolution by providing rapid access to technically qualified and experienced engineers.

3. Fast on-site service to carry out PC problem diagnosis, repairs, replacements and upgrades with no time charges for hardware issues.

4. If all devices on the network are covered then full network documentation of PC's and Fileserver is undertaken complete with efficiency recommendations.

2. Preventative Maintenance

Your computers are serviced bi-annually and equipment performance is recorded in detail. Our Computer Engineers optimize the performance and hence extend operational life of the equipment. The engineers will make recommendations and offer advice based on this information. Apart from being a valuable audit for you, this documentation is used by our help desk personnel, and field service engineers to quickly diagnose problems.

3. Fixed Costs

The TAA facilitates technology transfer, the objective being to transfer computer knowledge to your staff thereby increasing in-house expertise. Unlimited technical assistance is automatically available whilst covered by the unique CIOPS Technical Assistance Agreement.
