Personal Experiments or Joint Experiences ?
For
both men and women it is important to have satisfied 'single desires' before
considering a long-term commitment to someone else. However, when people
fall in love for the first time it is frequently difficult to imagine that there
are any important aspects of a relationship to be considered other than the
amount of time spent together. The dream will eventually end though,
normally about the time of the first major disagreement, and when it does then
some logical analysis needs to take place. This should range from listing
the real interests you have in common, along with the personal interests that
the other party might genuinely develop an interest in (not another night out
with the boys!), to evaluating the priority of experiences you planned to have
before the relationship that can only be undertaken alone. Logic and
romance do not necessarily fit together in everyone's minds, but few can sustain
a loving partnership without applying a little logic along the way!
