The school opens on
the last week in August. We look forward to seeing you at the time
indicated in
the Timetables - if the listed time is unsuitable to you please do not
hesitate to phone any morning.
We cannot stress enough how happy we are to deal with any queries by telephone or email. Class time is valuable as we teachers cover the RAD ballet syllabus; Show Dances, and often Jazz, with each set of children.
Interruptions such as parents meetings between classes or children missing lessons can be detrimental to the progress of the whole class.
CHILDREN'S PROTECTION ACT
We insist that Parents wait in
their cars or outside when collecting children. We receive complaints about
the lack of privacy in the changing area both in the Studio and at North
Berwick. We have to be so careful with children of every age. Please
come a little late allowing time for your child to change, children will not be
allowed to leave the building unaccompanied.
We regret to say we
no longer have the privilege of using cameras of any kind in the theatre, many
people were caught taking videos of children during the last performance, and a
total stop has now been made. We are
more than happy to video your child in class at your request as we appreciate how
nice it is to have a record of them dancing, both for your enjoyment and your
childÂs.
