PeopleDoc Announces PD Accord
Web-based Document

PeopleDoc,
a document collaboration and customer information management software
specialist, today announced PD Accord, its web-based, business-to-business
document collaboration software. Designed to facilitate collaborative
business applications, PD Accord will allow distributed teams to work on
projects and documents in a secure Internet workspace, increasing the team’s
productivity, improving the way it works together and lowering many of the
costs associated with completing projects in a collaborative business
environment.

distributed teams can find and work on the latest version of a contract,
prospectus or corporate articles in a controlled environment. This advancement

PD Accord Highlights
PD Accord will allow companies to create project folders
that enable them to define their own set of collaborative documents for easy
retrieval and sharing.
PD Accord key features to include:
o Templates.
Creates a structure for a collaborative process by enabling a customized view
of a specific project. Folders in a template can contain sample documents or
placeholders of documents that need to be supplied.
o Automatic
Notification. Allows a person involved in a project to be notified
whenever a document is checked-in or an update or change has occurred
o Status Flags.
Enables a visual representation of the status of projects (folders) and/or
documents within the folder.
o Discussion Threads.
Allows users to electronically discuss a document or project from within the
application.
o Version History.
Allows a project participant to identify what changes were made to each
revision of a document or folder, when they were made, and who made them.
o Audit Trail. A full
audit trail tracks every action taken on each folder and document within a
project to allow team members to assess the progression of each item
throughout the process.
o Delegated Authority
Model. Greatly reduces the burden on the project leader of user and security
administration by allowing the project leader to delegate the management of
specific elements of a project to team leaders, including user access rights
at a group or organization level and document and folder level security.
