Zircus Dix - acf010T.gif (13959 bytes) Exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in 1997.

The fictitious Zirkus Dix man holding a naked woman aloft in the style of a human King Kong, conveys a play on scale by bestriding the roof of a tall building.

The building is a cabinet with doors displaying brightly painted circus characters both, on the outside and the inside.  The floor of the cabinet hides a 'false compartment'.  The sculpture is created from red pine and MDF.
