QI Pty Ltd is an Australian company that is focused on acquiring and exploiting prime oil and gas assets strategically located in key oil and gas producing areas of the world. QI Pty Ltd was established and registered in 2011 by accomplished professionals with different backgrounds in the energy industry. They have joined to combine their expertise with the core objective of finding oil and gas assets with good production potential and to assist in the commercialisation and development of those assets. QI Pty Ltd at this time is a private company. Due to the number of opportunities being presented to the Company it is anticipated that the company can achieve a more rapid growth by going public with an IPO as soon as practicable. QI Pty Ltd has a sound belief that the oil and gas exploration and development can work conjointly with the environmental sustainability. This belief is at the forefront of every decision that QI Pty Ltd will make to develop any asset.

Harry Duerden - Director of Exploration & Development

Qualifications:  BSc (Hons) Geology and Chemistry Experience: Mr Duerden'’s career in the Petroleum business spans 40 years commencing in 1969 as a wellsite Geologist for BP onshore/ offshore and shortly afterward joining Occidental Petroelum.  He joined Asamera Oil Indonesia Ltd in 1974 following a brief work period with Shell offshore Qatar. Mr Duerden contributed to the Development of the Cooper basin oil gas and condensate fields while working as the Chief Development Geologist for SAGASCO from 1982- 1988.  He periodically has provided consulting services for various companies Philippines Cities Services (Nido discoveries), Shell Oil, Kuwait Oil Co and Texaco.  Mr Duerden joined Icon Energy as Chief Geologist in 2008 and after progressing the company's initial coal seam gas exploration projects headed New Ventures for the identification and exploitation of other unconventional energy resources, such as geothermal, until his departure in 2011.   Mr Duerden has been an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists since 1974.

 

John Quayle - Director of Corporate Business

Qualifications:  BBVSc, LLB Experience: Mr Quayle has over 30 years corporate business management experience and is a qualified commercial lawyer. He has wide experience in corporate law with project financing, corporate advice and corporate governance in the private sector as well as extensive international business experience in Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines negotiating and structuring corporate ventures.  At Icon Energy from 2007-2010 Mr Quayle's business and multicultural experience proved invaluable as the company developed its assets, negotiated new ventures and expanded its workforce.  His role involved overseeing affairs of a government and business development nature with a focus on guiding the company&apos:s corporate strategy towards commercialisation.

Stan Grodynski - Director of Projects & Operations

Qualifications:  BSc (Hons) Mechanical Engineering Experience: Mr Grodynski's career in the Petroleum business spans 35 years commencing in 1976 as a field engineer for Schlumberger Overseas SA in South East Asia.  He joined Gearhart Industries Inc in 1979 and negotiated the company's first contract for the provision of open-hole and cased-hole wireline logging services with Caltex Pacific Indonesia, which he managed through start-up prior to establishing the company's office and regional computing\interpretation centre in Jakarta.  Mr Grodynski joined Gearhart Pty Ltd as General Manager in 1984 and as well as building competitive wireline services on land and offshore, oversaw the development of ADAS (Advanced Digital Acquisition System) which was successfully sold into China.  From 1987 to 2011 he provided petrophysical, business development and management consulting services to various companies including Gearhart Drilling, ATCO Drilling, CIOPS Australia, Magnetic Pulse Inc, Neuralog Inc and HRH Geological Services, with clients ranging from NOC's to Aramco, BP and Shell. Mr Grodynski has been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1985, and is also a member of the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts, the European Association of Geoscientists, the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain and the Southeast Asia Petroleum Exploration Society.
